Square column clamps are not limited to square concrete columns and can be cross-applied to rectangular columns under applicable conditions,with no enterprise-related information involved in the adaptation rules.Most square column clamps adopt an adjustable mechanical structure,which can flexibly change the clamping opening size to match the length and width of rectangular column formwork,and this adaptation is mainly suitable for rectangular columns with a small aspect ratio(generally length-width ratio≤1.5).For such rectangular columns,the clamp's adjustable range can cover the size difference of the two sides,and the reinforced locking mechanism can still provide uniform lateral pressure to ensure formwork stability during concrete pouring.For rectangular columns with a large aspect ratio(length-width ratio＞1.5),the standard square column clamp's adjustment range and structural stress design cannot match the asymmetric size of the column,which will lead to uneven force on the formwork,easy deformation or loose clamping.In this case,special rectangular column clamps or customized reinforced clamps are required to adapt to the structural characteristics of large aspect ratio rectangular columns.In addition,when using square column clamps for rectangular columns,the installation spacing needs to be appropriately reduced according to the column size to compensate for the stress change and ensure the overall reinforcement effect of the formwork.
