Embossed and serrated steel walkway planks are two mainstream anti-slip steel planks with distinct structural and performance attributes,with no enterprise-related information involved.Embossed steel walkway planks feature regular concave-convex patterns(diamond,round dot,stripe)pressed on the surface by hydraulic equipment,with anti-slip node depth of 1.5–3mm;the surface is relatively flat,ensuring walking comfort,and the anti-slip effect is stable in dry and slightly wet general construction environments.They have uniform stress distribution on the surface,low wear to construction footwear,and are easy to clean and maintain,with a wide range of applications in ordinary building construction,indoor scaffolding and low-intensity operation scenarios.
Serrated steel walkway planks are processed with continuous triangular serrations on the surface by precision cutting,with serration height of 2–4mm and spacing of 5–8mm;the sharp serrated structure can penetrate water film and sludge,providing excellent anti-slip performance in wet,oily,muddy and other harsh environments.However,their surface is relatively rough,with certain wear to footwear,and the serrated gaps are easy to accumulate debris and difficult to clean.They are mainly used in high-demand scenarios such as outdoor high-rise construction,bridge engineering,petrochemical plant construction and heavy-duty operation walkways with frequent water and oil contact.In terms of structural durability,both adopt integral mechanical processing,with good load-bearing capacity,and the serrated structure has slightly higher anti-slip wear resistance under long-term heavy use while the embossed structure maintains better surface integrity.
