Exported scaffolding couplers need to go through long-distance international transportation and strict customs inspection,so their packaging must meet both protection and compliance requirements, ensuring the products remain intact and meet the regulations of the export destination.
Packaging material selection should comply with international standards and destination requirements.Common materials include woven bags, steel pallets and fumigation-free wooden pallets, which are sturdy and meet environmental and quarantine requirements.Woven bags are often used for inner packaging, with 25 sets per bag, while pallets are used for outer packaging to facilitate loading, unloading and transportation.
Moisture-proof and rust-proof protection is essential for long-distance shipping, especially maritime transportation.Desiccants should be placed in each package to absorb moisture, and galvanized couplers can be wrapped with protective films to avoid scratch and corrosion, ensuring the surface integrity of the products.
Stability reinforcement is required to prevent damage during transportation.Packages should be tightly bound with steel strips, and each bundle should be controlled within a reasonable weight(1-1.5 tons)to avoid loosening or collision. For large batches, pallets should be stacked properly and fixed to meet the ISTA 6B zero-load transportation test standards for vibration and impact resistance.
Marking standards must be followed for smooth customs clearance.Packages should be clearly marked with product specifications, quantity, weight, certification marks(such as EN74,BS1139),destination and other information. Some countries require additional environmental or safety marks to comply with local regulations.
In addition, packaging should be adjusted according to the export destination:pallet packaging is suitable for European and American markets for high efficiency, while bundle packaging is more economical for Southeast Asian markets, and wooden box packaging is recommended for samples to ensure better protection.
