
The drop forged scaffolding couplers are manufactured through a series of standardized processes,which focus on ensuring the density and mechanical properties of the product,and each link is strictly controlled to meet the use requirements.
First,raw material preparation is the foundation.High-quality carbon steel or alloy steel is selected as the raw material,and it is cut into blanks of appropriate size according to the design specifications of the couplers.
Second,the blanks are heated to a suitable high temperature(usually 1100-1250℃)to improve their plasticity and facilitate forging.The heating temperature must be strictly controlled to avoid overheating or underheating affecting the forging effect.
Third,drop forging is the core process.The heated blanks are placed in a forging die,and the desired coupler shape is formed by the impact force of a forging press,making the internal structure of the product dense and enhancing its strength.
After forging,the couplers go through trimming to remove excess flash and burrs,then heat treatment to eliminate internal stress and improve hardness and toughness.Finally,surface treatment(such as hot-dip galvanizing)is carried out to prevent corrosion,and strict inspection is performed to ensure qualified products.
