Large-size steel scaffold planks(usually length≥4m,width≥300mm)have large volume and heavy weight,so their transportation must comply with construction material transportation norms, with no enterprise-related information involved.First, load fixing:planks must be neatly stacked on transport vehicles, with spacing between layers to avoid friction;use steel wire ropes or binding belts to fix them at intervals of 1.5-2m,ensuring no sliding, collision or tilting during transportation.Second,anti-corrosion protection:for galvanized steel planks, wrap the surface with waterproof cloth to prevent rain, dust or chemical substances from corroding the galvanized layer;avoid direct contact between planks and sharp objects to prevent coating damage.Third, structural protection:avoid placing heavy objects on the planks during transportation, and prevent extrusion or impact that may cause bending, deformation or serration damage(for serrated planks). In addition, transportation vehicles must be flat and stable, and the driving speed should be controlled to avoid sudden acceleration or braking;for extra-long planks(≥6m),use special transport frames and mark warning signs to ensure transportation safety.Unload the planks gently with hoisting equipment to avoid direct throwing or collision.
