Light duty steel planks, characterized by light weight, easy handling and moderate load-bearing capacity, are widely used in low-intensity construction scenarios without involving any enterprise-related information. They are primarily applied to low-rise residential buildings, rural self-built houses and small commercial buildings, serving as scaffold walkways for workers’daily operations and light material transportation.
In indoor construction, such as interior decoration, ceiling installation and wall finishing, light duty steel planks are used to build temporary operation platforms,as their light weight allows for easy assembly and disassembly without damaging indoor structures. They are also suitable for light maintenance work, including building exterior wall maintenance, pipeline inspection and equipment debugging, where only single-person operation or small tools are needed.
Additionally, light duty steel planks are applicable to small-scale infrastructure projects, such as small foundation construction, decorative column construction and temporary passageways, where the load requirement is low(≤2.0 kN/m²).They are not suitable for heavy-duty scenarios such as high-rise bridge construction or heavy material stacking,as their load-bearing capacity is limited.
