The material thickness of square column formwork couplers is a key factor affecting their load-bearing capacity and service life, and is formulated with standardized requirements based on engineering needs.
For small-sized couplers(adapting to columns with side length≤300mm),the material thickness is 3.0-4.0mm,mainly made of Q235 steel, which meets the load-bearing needs of small-scale formwork reinforcement.
For medium-sized couplers(adapting to columns with side length 300-800mm),the material thickness is 4.0-5.0mm,using Q355 high-strength steel to enhance structural stability and bear moderate lateral pressure.
For large-sized couplers(adapting to columns with side length>800mm),the material thickness reaches 5.0-6.0mm,adopting thickened steel plate to ensure sufficient load-bearing capacity for large-scale formwork reinforcement.
