In transportation,clamps shall be classified and bundled by model and specification to prevent mutual collision and extrusion during transit;sharp edges and anti-corrosion coatings shall be protected with wrapping materials to avoid scratches and peeling.The bundled clamps need stable placement in transport vehicles with fixed measures to prevent sliding during transportation,and shall be covered with waterproof tarpaulins to avoid exposure to rain,snow and moisture that cause rusting.Loading and unloading operations shall be gentle to prevent mechanical damage to the clamp structure and locking components.
In storage,clamps shall be kept in a dry,ventilated and well-drained indoor warehouse,and placed on elevated pallets or shelves to isolate from ground moisture and corrosive substances.Different models and specifications shall be stored separately with clear labels for quick access and management.Regular visual inspections shall be conducted during storage;damaged anti-corrosion coatings shall be repaired in a timely manner,and loose locking parts shall be tightened.Long-term outdoor temporary storage is not allowed;if necessary for short-term outdoor storage,full waterproof and sun-proof covering shall be adopted,and drainage measures shall be set up around the storage area to avoid water accumulation.
